How To Install Numix Theme And Icons In Ubuntu 15.04

I have said it before and I am saying it again. Numix is the best theme out there in the Linux world. In this article, we are going to see how to install Numix theme and icons in Ubuntu 15.04. We shall also see how to use change themes in Ubuntu.
While I am stressing on Ubuntu, Numix is available for all major Linux distributions and desktop environments for e.g., GNOME, Cinnamon etc. Imagine the popularity and beauty of Numix that it is the default theme of Arch based beginner-friendly Linux distribution, Antergos.

Install Numix theme and icons in Ubuntu

We’ll be using the official Numix PPA. Open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T in Ubuntu) and use the following commands to install Numix theme and icons:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:numix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install numix-gtk-theme numix-icon-theme-circle

If you want to install Numix wallpapers, use the command below:

sudo apt-get install numix-wallpaper-*

It will install all the Numix wallpapers available in the PPA. Once we have installed the themes and icons, let’s see how to change the default theme or icons to Numix.

Using Numix theme and icons

If you are using Unity, then instal Unity Tweak Tool using the command below:
sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool
If you are using GNOME, then install Gnome Tweak Tool with the help of the following command:
